My brother in law lives in LA too; not that I'm about to ask you whether you know him or not!!

Nice part of the world apparently. Not been yet.

Oi, yes the weather is a main reason people move here. It doesn't snow, hardly ever rains, isn't too hot or too cold...just right. You should come for Bimmerfest. Each year we have a huge BMW gathering. www.bimmerfest.com

Welcome welcome. Awesome M3 and the Cabrio is cool too - what's that pushing out BHP wise?

Been to your town many times for work and play - Marina Del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica and even stayed in Hollywood a while (wasn't too keen) though I have to say, saw more old school BMW's in the Pacific North West and the Tri-State area, which is the last place I's have expected to see them.

Lots of E21's, E30's and 2002's there.

Tons of E46's in Cali though, at one point, every other car was an E46 lol!

Good work representing!

Thanks for the compliments. 17x8 3 piece Epsilon rims with 235/40/17 Falken FK452s on the Lachssilber. The M3 makes 200HP at the wheels. I haven't dyno'd the cab yet but it's running on 8PSI with a full Megasquirt standalone.

In the States, BMW's weren't that popular until the E36. Only the wealthy had BMW's until the E36 came out and then we saw younger BMW owners come into the scene. Unfortunately, not many of us are true BMW enthusiasts. Most Americans (especially in Los Angeles) see it as a status symbol.

The black M3 belongs to my friend Mariano. I believe he's running 17x8.5 - 215/40/17 front and 17x9.5 - 245/30/17 rear.
