Its normally 316 and 320i pre-facelifts you see in that sort condition. Very rare to see a 325i in that condition.

loverly!! A credit to you, not many like this about!
The bumper appears to not sit flush with the rear nearside arch? There should be a screw/bolt inside the arch that holds the bumper toight, it must have come loose?

Could also be due to the fact that the plastic end cap is,nt on right. Trust a bit of plastic to mar, what is possibly one of the tidiest chromies on here..

That is one lovely early chromie.
Stunning bodywork for an early car, must have been cherished throughout its life, most have had some sort of tat bolted to them or raced and then crashed
Lovely

Thanks everyone; its comments like these that make the effort worthwhile.
Good spot to those who spotted the a/c controls! The stereo is an aftermarket one as it came with the original radio and the stereo was the closest I could find to go with the era. The steering wheel is also from chris warburton as the original was the heavy duty bus style one!
The bumper is actually an aftermarket job hence the poor fitting. I had a small knock on the rear so the bumper was replaced but will replace with an original one if I can find an immaculate and if not will get one from BMW...
The bodywork is the dreaded Zinnober red so looks great in part but has signs of pigment damage. As a result, the roof and bonnet are going to get resprayed this summer.. Also, the alloys need reconditioning.
Finally, it has done only 40k miles from new hence the condition of the leather and am aiming to keep it as original as possible but is difficult. It has the 4 Uniroyal raintyres all around and one will need chnanging in the next few months so will loose some originality as the original tyre is now discontinued..
Anyway before I bore everyone I'll shut up. Thanks again for your comments!
Zahid

Oh no, do carry on.
Tell us more about the car. Did you purchase it recently, or are you the original owner? You going to waxoyl it yourself, because if so would love to see some pictures, Im planning on getting mine this summer.
Its e30s like that, that really do make you feel as if your back in the 80s again.
Keep up the good work.
