The Green Machine - 2.5 touring on gas

Following my brush with death on the M4 (some hoon driving an E46 went into the back of me and shoved me off the road and into a roll, writing off my beloved 316i touring

), I have been searching far and wide for a replacement with a bit more poke under the bonnet.
So here it is - bought of a fellow zoner, it's a Malachite Green touring with LPG with a lovely interior, home refurbed bbs and at long last a 6 pot
Plans - I'm quite happy with how it is really..
- There's a spot of rust on the tailgate so that will need sorting
- Perhaps a change in back box (never really a fan of the outward rolled variety)
- A change back to orange indicators and original tail lights
- HID conversion and do some homemade smoked headlights.
- Smaller LPG tank (the one in there is HUUUGE! - will get some photos of that soon)
- In the far future I'll work on the suspension a little and perhaps also put an E36 rack in there

I've just noticed something potentially embarrassing....that's why you don't put wheels on when it's dark!.... will need to swap my left with right to get the tread pointing the right direction!

Looks a nice tidy touring you have there.
The 6 pots sound sweet dont they, mind you,you will notice the difference in MPG to your 316i,but more importantly the extra power

Nice one, mate! Liking the colour, too.
I personally think the BBS would look nicer in their original colour, but each to their own.
Be interested to know what mpg you get from her

Not sure where that lip comes from, it came with the car.... I really like it though...a mix of 'is' and alpina (even though it's really not either >.<)
You should see the LPG tank.....huge doesn't begin to describe it....I will get pics sometime soon, just haven't gotten around to it

Looking good...
Where's your filler cap? I've got a 80litre tank in my 4door....wish my touring was LPG'd...I'd never sell it if it was....!

Why would anyone buy a 325i & then stick a boiler in the boot?
As some of you rightly state....it's the 6 pot that we all want to hear ain't it????

ahh the bloody pipe to the tank... I spent the whole afternoon sitting in the boot trying to attach that pipe!
Don't know what mpg I'm getting really, but looking at approx 10 pounds/100 mile on 56p gas...i make that about 11.2 l/100k, so 21mpg! (that seems a bit thirsty >.<)

not fun is it, even on a new pipe.
mine is doing 14mpg on LPG round town but once out of town, it will do 100 miles to a tenner.
it is a 3.5 M30 though and 'round town' driving is either stop-start traffic or flat out in between
