That poor car. I'd much rather have a nice clean example like yours any day of the week. So much more street cred than a riced up one.

Doesn't look too bad for a Max Power car (if you get what I mean), what engine's it got?

Hope it's not a standard 2.5 with the ///Ms all over the seats!

i just hope that gorgeous dark blue cab at the bottom is not what it used to look like.

The Macau blue Motorsport cab on image shack is mine. I'll put some more photos of my car on here as soon as i take some good pics.
My mates car was however a macau blue motorsport cabriolet many years ago before all of the bubble leather was removed and the mods tunning body kit was fitted. The engine is still a 325i with a few small mods. Would be a great car to put a e36 m3 engine into though.
The car was at maxpower live in 2001 which was before my mate brought the car, but that was the first time we saw it. it's also been featured in Performance BMW mag too.

I think the guy that originally had the body kit fitted should have sold the motorsport and brought a standard cabriolet to fit the kit to. But some people just get carried away i guess.
My mate brought the car after all the work had been done and the only way we could tell it was a motorsport was because of the BMW dealers computer system and the original bill of sale. The car does look amazing and attracts so much attention, but i do agree with you adam it is a shame that the guy done it to an orignal motorsport. I think 17" wheels and lowereing is about all anyone should do to a motorsport as they look perfect anyway.
Any news on when the motorsport meeting is going to be held (adam)?
