As some of you saw I recently bought Shake’s carpet but he asked for it back for his new project

Back to the matter in hand I sourced another carpet from Chris-W and he posted it to me don’t even ask how you post a carpet but a picture speaks a thousand words
Image

I used to have a baige carpet which just didn’t suit the rest of the interior
Image

Image

So here is the carpet installed and just been steam cleaned I didn’t cut the carpet around the heater box as it wasn’t need just wrestled it a bit, the only bit I had to cut was the ring section that goes around the steering column so im well pleased

After a good steam clean

Ow and don’t let on I nicked the hover

carpet looks much better, its the nicer type too, the softer pile one,

im supprised you can fit a carpet in that package

that reminds me i need a new one, my crap rough pile one is stained to death and i hate the look of them

chris dont suppose you have any more of them "softer pile" ones, might be after xmas before i buy one tho (skint) :(

you don't need to cut the carpet to fit/remove it into a car without aircon. Lazy people attack carpets with knifes here. But the steering column cut is ok!

I think it's a shame you've changed it. The old carpet matched your clocks.

Only joking neil. That looks 110% better and youre right, it's updated it too.

Definitely looks better, but i would've been tempted to dye it black if i was doing it...pics make it look like the normal grey carpet.
