Hello all,

I realise that my username is now kinda redundant, but whatever.

Here's what I picked up on Monday arvo:

1990 325is manual in brilliantrot
It has:
- Genuine 105,000km!
- M-Tech II kit
- Close ratio gearbox
- not sure what ratio, but it has an lsd
- Maplight rear view mirror
- 10 stacker CD player in the boot (not currently wired in P/O installed a new head unit and couldn't wire the power in to it, so I'm on the look out for an original head unit)
- full tool kit(!)
- Twin stainless exhaust system

It doesn't have a black headliner, or M-Tech I steering wheel (and IIRC the 325is had a 65L tank?) which leads me to believe that its a 325i, but having checked the VIN I'm told its a 325is...

Anyway I'm not really fussed, for your viewing pleasure:

Looks really clean mate, nice tidy interior unlike the usual dog spec you get in alot. Not sure on the wheels tho

just to get the extra bits and pieces- maybe stuff like 13 button OBC, cruise, rear sun blind.
But all in good time, I'm in no rush!

Nice car mate. Liking the engine bay. Im planning on moving to Australia soon. I hope to see more like that. How much did you pay for something like that over there?

i'm his brother.. we picked the car up with them on it. we also got some 15" 5 spoke wheels. these are far better than the other set. i think a set of 15" weaves are needed.

Its a (huge) heat shield. I paid AU$10,500 for it. Sold my 323i for $7,000.
Thats a goood price for a clean 325is in Aus.

Lovely looking car! I personally think the heat shield ruins the look of the engine bay though :( loose and stick a 6 branch on there, would look 20 times better 8)

I think its more a really well optioned standard rather than a 325is. In Aus, they ALL came with black roof liner.
It also has the wrong instrument cluster.
Even still, find yourself some 15" BBS rims and you've got yourself a gem ;)
