I have just bought this one owner 85K mile 318i with t&t for £100

I am going to use her in the ANWCC roadrally championship in 2009.

I will post photos on here during the build.

I would also appreciate and advice on weak points on the car, i.e suspension, engine, transmission.

Looks like a good basecar. What are the class rules for the series you plan on entering? Might help people help you.

£100 awesome bargain from what we can see in the pics! What engine are you going to put in it? I could do with a £100 bargain like that for a reshell!

Its a great series the ANWCC RR C'Ship, and you will have loads of fun in that!

Im sure you have been to spectate and its good to see such a range of cars winning and doing well.

Service the engine and transmission.
Think about a (home-made?) sump guard.
Uprated springs are a cheap upgrade too, or use coil-assisters (also very cheap) to maintain that std ride height.
And the usual Colway tyres! :?

Rear seat going back in with the roll hoop?? Thats different... The hoop will have a stealthier look if nothing else.

Good progress so far. My intention was orginally to build my E30 into a tarmac rally car, but I have since drifted into circuit racing.

Whats to go with the go fast bits (suspension and brakes)? Without these, rally cars are cactus.

Keep up the updates.
