Here she is, the one and only BEAST.
Original Alpina C2 2.7 convertible. Pulls like a beast, sounds like a beast, looks like a beast.

Avus blue, blue piped leather, everything original Alpina the day it came out of line, never abused, she makes an absolutely beastly sound when idling, and when cruising she screams like a banshee!

Definitely among some of the nicest E30s, never out on a dull day, washed every other day even if it hasn't been driven.

It was going well to I spotted the eyebrows.

its not the best Alpina.....its nice....but the black convertible with red leather with the TECH 2 /// KIT has stole the show.........its on the zone

This is the best looking E30 on the planet let alone the zone, and I know anothe rmod has a stunning Hartge H27 convertable which is flawless.

Also the eyebrows are as bad as putting a burberry interier in the car, also makes the same statement IMO

both those Alpina's are tasty,couldn't choose between them,however if either owners are willing,i will have them both on seperate weekends and give you my verdict

there was a white cab from a guy from sweden i think? tech2 kits bbs RS. thats the best cab on the zone. will search for pics.

Nice +whatever the tally is now on the eyebrows. Rip them off and it'll go from Ken Dodd to Brad Pitt in minutes.

The black cab is stunning. Gives me movement everytime I see it.

Old-skools black cab is the very best looking car on the zone imo. Yours is nice but not the best sorry.

Ok guys, it's not the best car then, BUT, it is one of the best c2 "2.7" Alpina's after simon13's right? The red and black one is 2.5, I read somewhere I think, I'm on about the 2.7 there's only three of these original RHD ever made, don't you guys find it quite amazing? The exhaust note is BEASTLY!

Note please everyone tht as for originality mine tops easily, original seats, original mtech1 kit, original engine parts, except the paint, originally alpine white.

Surely the C2 2.5 cab is better then, but this is the BEST C2 2.7 CAB left, three of these beast ever roamed the planet.
Pulls like a jumbo jet and handels like a dream.

Don't get me wrong, she is a stunner but her originalty isn't spot on.

Chrome Handbrake handle.

None of these are original. The main thing is, is not whether it is the best blue 2.7 alpina convertible with 5mm of tread on the tyres, it's that there is another E30 in A1 condition out there with a lot of enthusiasm.
Maybe a contender for car of the show at the BMW Festival next year, perhaps consider entering it.

It's a nice motor, but why are you so worried about it being the best on the Zone??

As for you saying about its originality, didnt you mention it was originally Alpine white on this thread?

There are more than three of these although I have no ideas of just how many UK cars were built...but there is yours I have 1,there are at least 2 based on Motorsport cabs and then there is the VVO press release car! So thats at least 5!!

The rims looks like they are 17"'s and not orginal 16's

your orginal statement is one of th ebest E30 cabs on the zone not best C2 2.7 Alpinas.

Seriously go to some of the big shows with the guys next year and you will see some amazing cars. Example at the pod last weekend was the most god damb sexy Black M3 Evo I seen in a long arsed time. The monsport meet Pimpmobiles customised cab is an absoloute stunner. And Ians H27 convertable beats any car for rarity as its's the only real one that was done in RHD.

your pina is nice but still would need bits doing to make it perfect , ie get the pina strips all down the body work and removing the horrffic eyebrows. I hate eye brows so much when my car blew up on the M6 after I got it I got the RAC guy to help me remove them there and then!

Did you buy the car to impress or to enjoy? I think the E30 can do one of those things very well.

Very Very nice, but i pefer the Tech II motorsport convertibles in calypso red.
