So get here home in Demember and she's relgeted to outside for awhile. Was doing mods with spare parts that were kicking about.

Come spring I added shocks and springs, these are now out of the car and it has Eibach Comps in it.
Image
stole my m tech's startechs

fast forward to 08 she gets a winter outside under a car cover for 4 months and a new exhaust.

Sick and tired of driving in a ratty M I take her to local detailers, and after 7 hours of working plus they are not finished yet she is looking proper.

I have one now but last year me and my wife split so it spent most of the winter under a car cover.

I have a large storage garage now where my life is on hold for moment. Plus I have to shoe horn a US spec S50 into another of my toys.

Thanks for nice comments.

Congratulations, now you can spend more time with the car :)

Where abouts in the US are you? I'm guessing North Virginia way?

Most are still in it, the black 89 is gone and wrecked, the laguna gruen is gone and was refinished to be Subaru electric blue.

The red es is now S52 powered. the red vert is a DD, the black 87 is M/S50 powered track rat converted to EU spec bumpers and M tech I. The red 90 I sold to my brother in law just prior to split for 500 quid. The Sterling car was sold to finance the purchase of the M two years ago.

Rumor has it it was wrecked as well.

The only issue with the startecs are they are late model so slightly pinkish.

Nice, another USAF guy on here now. I've only known/worked with one other guy that was into E30's. How can you afford two M3's, plus half a dozen+ other E30's on military pay??

Flyer...I go down range 10 to 11 times a year. Plus per diem and hostile fire pay and incentive pay and a re-enlistment bonus. Plus I'm an E7.

I currently own the two m3's and the red 86 325eS but that is S52 with C38 stage III on E30 M3 suspension.

I still have the 90 Vert and a 93 328iS and 95 M3 and 97 332iS turd box and a 99 318Ti The e36's just came along as daily drivers.

Been looking to cross into something on the flying/heavies side. Plenty of opportunity for making money, it seems! As a Fighter Crew Chief, kinda limited to the big group stuff, not so many small ships anywhere. Even then, you have to get picked for it. A TCN duty just came up that got delegated to our flight chief for us, but I PCS too soon.

On a good note, I'll finally be have a garage to have a place to store/work on the Tech 1 at Elmo.

My S52 has Schrick's plus the scroll. It's fun.

Crosstraining. C5's are a dying breed. C17's need Loadmasters but C130's are in a higher demand right now for Loads too.

The red M haha paid 3.5K US dollars for it.

HOW in the F*** did you come across that? A friend hookup, was it trashed, or did they just not know what they had? I can't see anyone "just wanting rid" of an E30 M3....

I was thinking maybe something with C130's, FCC/Gunner for any sort of heli, or maybe a tanker boom operator. If all that fails, I can always go ATC or Imagery Analysis for some re-enlistement perks (bonuses)

Craigslist !!! had just sold an M3 the week prior too. LOL It paid for the red M. The white one was 7.5K sans a running engine, but I had an engine for it already so for another 1K I had it shipped out to me and plunked a fresh 2.3L in it that had some toys already installed.

The imagery thing pays well on the outside too, Drone field is super hot with Border Patrol and ICE and Homeland Security, as well as other gov't agencies.

Well, it won't hurt to keep my eyes and ears open for something like that to come along, but I could easily end up waiting forever... I think my time and money are better suited to sticking with my Tech 1. I think, minus the SA 333i, some brandname aftermarket setups (alpina, hartge, etc) and a handfull of other rare examples, a Tech 1 is a good base to get invested into.

Life changes at home, repossessed my 99 1.8T compact from my younger sis after she failed to pay and then I had some bodywork done to it. 99's in the US were all M-Techs.

Last few years I have been working on our home as can be seen here on the outside. We have remodeled the entire first floor. Had the twins out of the garage.
