Cheers fellas.
As said, suspension done, re-spray done and just had a custom stainless exhaust put on it, makes it sound a bit fruitier! K&N filter already on too. Apart from that no real plans, just leave it as close to standard.
Any suggestions??
May try and pick up a 325i though, funds allowing, in the near future!

Looks really nice mate, looks just like one that was for sale around my area about 1-2 months ago. I would recommend getting a k and n panel filter instead of a cone filter (if that is what you've got!) unless you've got a decent heat sheild.

Its a panel bud - but I think the previous owner had a cone bcos the bonnet has a bubble on it.
Had it two years now, just doing bits slow time cos I want to keep hold of it.

A bubble? It shows that you are intereted in keeping it mate, it looks spanking! What exactly do you want to do to it? is it on 14" bbs's or are they 15's?

Look like 14"s

How about a zone chip and a bigger bore throttle body? Release a few more ponies
Maybe a set of 'se' skirts too...

B4gga83 - it was bud, well Coventry, lad called chris who picks em up and moves em on quick.
Bubble - under the paint, moves slightly, located above the bonnet hinge on left - gonna be sorted anyway.
thanks for the suggestions re: throttle body and chip - had a new mini chipped, made a real difference.
Wheels are 14"s
cheers fellas.

Pal - ended up going to Chippeduk.com - just round the corner from where I live funny enough!!
Extra 10 bhp and more torque, made a real difference mid range. They reckon 10 to 15% better fuel economy too.
Included two rolling road tests, one before and after - stainless exhaust sounds fcukin ace at 5500 in an enclosed (ish) space!

Pal - £225 - sounds steep compared to £70 thru zone & thanks for the advice but I like to see evidence and two rolling roads would have cost £100 anyway. chipped uk (not a plug, didn't even know they were there til friday) in bromsgrove B60 - they have pictures in there of "zone" cars I think. Owner absolutely loves E30's too.
Cheers Dom!
