From across the pond..

Some pics of my 1989 325i:

I just put on 5 coats of polish last week, and tried to capture the shine in these pics, but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped for.

I bought the wheels from a guy in Germany and had them shipped over, since that style was only sold in 14" in this country. I have a set of H&R springs and Koni shocks I am going to put on soon, so it should sit a good deal lower and drive a lot sharper. :)

OOHHHHHH that looks sooo nice. Great to see e30's gaining respect in the U.S. as well.

Maybe a strange question but why does it have euro bumpers (albeit with the side markers) and not those great big hideous american Impact bumpers?

What a relief, I was expecting those horrible diving boards :)
Very clean car!
Is that an early on board computer or a digital clock?
Also you seem to have a single switch for the foglights, does it put the fronts and rears on at the same time?

www.socale30.com is probably more appropriate, they will have local meets and trades for you!

Clean car too, looks nice.

Thanks for all the replies.

All US e30s had plastic bumpers from 89-91.

The "OBC" only tells time and temp as far as I know and has 6 buttons - so it may or may not actually be an OBC. I think there were versions with more buttons that did more things, but you guys would know that better than me. There's still a lot I don't know about the car.

The car doesn't have rear fog lights. No cars sold here have them because they are illegal here.

I am familiar with the other e30 sites posted, there are a bunch of them and each one has knowledge and information unique to itself. :)
