Ill have to hunt down a lip spoiler then, have always felt a bit insecure without one!

Dont know whether to go for the standard IS one or Ive seen a Reiger one in an old PBMW's that looks similar but slightly deeper.

Anyone know the one? Is this chav?

Adam that looks well good, did you lower yours on springs and dampers or just springs, dont you catch the front on bumps?

I live in Laira (about a mile from marshmills) good to see E30's are about in Kernow.

Cheers.

Don't think it was actualy standard fitment, not 100% though, and they do tend to go missing.

Kedge, Chaos, i think they came as standard lads, but ive seen so many now without them i assume people either a)break them b) have them stolen.

Ive seen quite a few is's with no bottom lip at all,as if its taken/ripped off, so that would explain it i think

I'm not 100% that these were standard, but I do know that if you wanted to buy from the Dealers the car had to be an iS or a 325 SE by VIN number otherwise they wouldn't sell them to you, they've stopped this now of course!

Yeah, Jimbob the engines going really good thanks. We put the bottom end together and its since sailed through the MOT. Like you said it doesnt seem to use any oil like my old one. Just got to sort out a slight lumpyness when cold and it'll be perfect.

Hows yours getting on, I thought the 'couple weeks' from when I saw you (January?) might have been a bit ambitious!

Do idea why I never had a lip spoiler. I think as IS's go mine didnt come with full options as I had to put the fogs in myself and Ive seen a couple now with rear headrests etc that mine hasnt got.

Adam, Dont know of any one with a four channel worth selling, a few mates are getting rid of real low end bits of kit but id steer well clear. I had a cheap amp before and it would over heat & cut out if on for a long time. Ill ask about though.

Theyre such nobs.

In a garage with all the right tools they'd have it all done in an hour or so!

To be honest yould be able to do it yourself, it would cost you nothing & you would know exactly where everything is run if you ever get a problem. Just do like like I said in the PM & as long as you get a decent earth in the boot and try not to run the power cable next to the RCA's or speaker cables you cant go far wrong.

I could put it in but im pretty hectic through the week, might be able to do it @ the weekend but expect yould be wanting to be cruising B&Q car park by then!

Give us a PM if you want us to do it or if you have a go your self & run in to any probs. My mobile is 07814 378301 if you get real stuck.

Cheers Bjorn

Hi mate, didnt recieve your PM?

My inbox isn't full.

Ok, well i am a complete novice with ice so i dont really want to feck anything up.

The weekend would be good, as ive got an interview with princess yachts on the saturday morning so will already be in plymouth.

Try the PM again or reply on here and let me know mate.

Thanks alot

Dunno who I sent that to then, sounded pretty knowledgable aswell.

May be going beach early sat morning depending on what surfs like. If its no good it shouldnt be a problem to fit it for you after your interview, might have to do it at my folks house though if its raining as I havnt got a garage. If I do go to the beach I could stop in and see the sights of Hatt on the way home & fit it for you or arrange a time to meet you back in Plymouth.

What I did say in the PM though was that to do it properly the front seat needs to come out to lay the cables under it. Id say that if you havnt got an amp for the front end yet will probably want one in the future. You might as well try & get hold of a 2nd amp wiring kit & 10 metres of OK speaker cable. Then we can put that in whilst every thing is out. When you get an amp for the front you only need to connect it in the boot & to the front speakers (ill just leave the speaker cables taped up under the carpet in the front footwells).

Ive mounted both of mine in the boot where my spare used to live so they are hidden & you dont have to take the sub box out to adjust them, I just carry a thing of tyre weld. Let us know if you want to do this or screw them to the back of the rear seats.

B4 the weekend check youve got a 'sub out' or RCA out on the back of your head unit.

Just thinking prob best if we do do it over here as if we need any clips or bits & pieces its all pretty close by.

Ill give you a PM before the end of the week when i know what im upto.

Cheers Bjorn

Cheers thansk alot mate, your helping me out big time.

Is that a 2nd hand amp wiring kit you mean, or just another one?

And thats cool i dont mind meeting you in plymouth.

You going run to the sun?

Me and 12 mates have got a place just outside Newquay that were staying at for 3 nights over the weekend.

My step dad also has a house over looking Fistral beach that i stay at in the summer. Its got posh electric gates you go through and its own parking spaces so its ideal.

My mob number is 07971624249, if i dont see any messages in the site.

Just bought these speaker cables, 8 meters worth

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... 3c8ae64790

Should do the trick.

Yip,

Go every year. Doubt ill be cruising about though, intend to be way to slashed for the weekend. Getting my Trevelgue tickets the end of the Month, pretty expensive but includes entry to the clubs on the site which always have a good DJ's. Probably a load of us lot going down & either sleep in the cars or get some form of tent from Trago mills.

Your step dads place sounds well good hellova expensive to get a place Newquay innit.

The speaker cables look fine.

What I meant in the message before was to get a 2nd amp wiring kit so we can put that in & when you get a front amp all the cables will be in place.

Cheers.

Ok, well i dont think i'll bother with a 2nd amp, as i haven't got components up front, just 13cm Alpine's in the footwells.

I'll give you a ring friday to see what your up to. Speak to you then
