Got the car back last week and was waiting to get a full day free so i could spend time getting it back together. I got it in to the unit so i could start working on it:

I had both sides painted with the front & rear valances and the bonnet all done as well. The body shop done an amazing job and you cant tell that the work had been done
I started to put the front together first:

Everything was all sorted but i just need to connect the pipes for the headlight washers.
I got the wipers put on with the seal for the bonnet, didnt get the after picture but it was simple enough.
Fitted the filler flap:

Started to do work on the inner wheel arches, gave them a lick of stone chip:

Can any one tell me where the 3 tubes connect at the top of the fuel filler neck?
With all the work done i didnt want the spare wheel spoiling anything so gave it a clean:

I pushed the car out and thought i would take some pics:

As i was running out of time, i wanted to get the centre console in and get the windows working:

Didnt get as much as i wanted to but its starting to come along so another and hopefully itll be ready for an MOT.

Over the past few months things have been really all over the place and this project has taken a lot longer to finish than expected. He is how i left her before:

I started to put the car back together, so first the came the electric aerial. I bought a new one as the i thought i lost all the parts to it but ironically found them when i was sorting through all the parts:

And then started to piece the car back together?

I had to order a load of new inserts for the trim:

The lock had failed on the drivers door, so i got a repair kit sorted:

And i got on a roll:

When i was putting the driver's rear arch liner in i knew i missing something and worked out what it was:

And then started on the sills:

As i had access to the ramp later on in the day, got on with servicing the car with a water pump and cambelt change:

Since then i have got the body work finished, mot'd and sorted out speedo as it was not registering any speed. I worked out that something had burnt out on the circuit board so i tried another and that didnt work. Worked out that the second set was faulty too so ended using a third set which worked a treat. I got working on the old adhesive from the last bonnet insulation which was a mess to get off but got there in the end:

Need to polish the car, wet vac the interior and sort a few things out and its ready to put on the market.

iirc I think Barry mentioned the best thing for that is brake fluid...Toyota's - No, I'm not joking.

Yes brake cleaner not fluid!!!
Toyota one works well but any solvent based brake cleaner will do.

Don't worry Gert I couldn't remember if it was fluid or cleaner too that Barry had discovered. I just sat on the fence with this one...Gert_8 wrote:iirc I think Barry mentioned the best thing for that is brake fluid...Toyota's - No, I'm not joking.
