been on the forum a few weeks now, had some great help from some of you guys and even done some business which went smoothly.
the car is a 318i on a h reg, found it belonged to another member on here before hand although, ive done a few bits and bobs to it and its much better. car already came on Fk shocks and springs, with front & rear strutbrace and some 17" alloys. Not sure what they are tbh but il rather get some original bbs on then.
just want to get some pics up of my car and the progress of it.
so here goes.
got this car about 2 months back, after using swapz. the first few pics are the one the lad sent me so its not my camera work lol
here it was then..
horrid bucket seats from a celica, they had to go. also the centre console was a mess. some horrible halfords metal handbrake lever and chrome gearknob
the rear bench was ripped to bits, hence the seat cover.
..nice 200 mile drive home and its mine..also the backbox snapped clean off whilst i was driving home so it sounded like a moped *bad times*
first things first, get the exhaust replaced. Got a scorpion one fitted, sound just right also. (il get a sound clip up soon)
get an original interior, had a good hunt on ebay for one and came across a guy selling one out of a 320..couple of bits later and its mine for ........£12!! front & rear seats with leather door cards.
also, got hold of an original gearknob and handbrake gator and a mint centre console from one of the members on here..
looks much better.
after a quick wash and polish
removed the povo spec blanking covers where the fogs would go and got hold of some foglights..
next thing is to get hold of an under dash panel as this doesnt have one, also a set of bbs when funds are bit more available. christmas round the corner etc....
