Looks a good blank canvas (tidy bodywork etc...)
But...for starters I'd change those awful wheels for a set of 15" BBS, I'd de-chav the exhaust, I'd remove the blackend kidney grill and clear indicators and then perhaps add some subtle modifications (se sideskirts? IS lip spoiler?)

Good car to start with.
I know the under side is solid after changing the petrol tank and a small patch was welded in the boot pocket.
Sort out the rear outer arches ,tailgate and a few other blemishes it has on the bodywork and you'll have a very tidy touring.
i'd be sticking a 2.5 and manual conversion in if it was me as the 4 pot auto is a bit poor imo.

The wheels are the 1st thing to go for sure.
I was thinking about the BBS style as it looks the part with them on it.
I was thinking about lowering it slightly also but unsure as want it to look good but not chavy looking.
I was also contemplateing the thought of tinted windows and the smoked style headlights with the angel eye rings but there are so many different prices for those style of lights.

He said he had already changed the petrol tank?
Looks tidy, will definitely look better with BBS on it.

I only help them get the old tank out and the replacement in position.
Check all the connection more so the one that connects to the fuel tank from the filler as it sounds like it will be about that level with £20 in it.
