2 owners from new with 60k up convertibles do not come along very often these days. I'd be detailing it and leaving it standard.

But your car, you choice. Good luck.

yh i know it has been well looked after , but everything i do to the car im making sure that 90% of it can be returned back to standard so if i do eventually end up selling it and theres a enthusiast who wants a mint standard one , mine will be as i already have two other cars this one will only be used once in a while i.e meets , shows n them nice summer days lol

And another backer to keep it original.

Drive it for a while, get to know it first before you change anything.

Then if you decide to go on, go and look at cars for sale that have been modified, and drive them, see if you like the "improved " ride, and the detailing in kit fit, interior etc.

If you change your mind, call me, I'm in the market for a white convertible.

320i or 325i?

90% of it back to original? Thats 10% that won't be and believe me, that 10% will wereck any potential value the car had.

Tacking tech 2 kits to convertibles that never had them will leave issues when you remove it. I can understand wheels and to a point suspension but bodily, you'd be mad to molest this.

I'd be cleaning and detailing that over the winter, then next sping, put it up for good money and use the proceeds to molest a less attractive proposition. Chances are you'll finance what you want to do. That way you save a nice car for the enthusiasts and part finance your "dream".

End of the day though, it's your car.

Once its changed, the odd hole drilled etc, that would rule it out for me...keep it as it is!

yh slowly changing my mind , i may just put a set of wheels on and lower it and detail it , then when push comes to shove i can then put the original wheels back on , raise it back 2 the original height n then get rid , its a 320i auto

thinking of these with stretched tyres n a 60mm drop

I would say yes. Metal bumper cabrios with shadow line trim had body colour painted bumpers.

More common on G and H reg cabrios.

As has been said.. Low miles unmolested convertible, is worth keeping standard.

A drop and wheels are not the end of the world, as long as you don't start hacking arches about etc.

B7 is right on this one.. Keep it as is, it'll be worth something.
Got cable ties? Get diffin..
