presume alot of you will know the car as i bought it off a member of the site...

its a trackslag so has seen a bit of abuse and as i am currently off the road due to illness ive decided to give it the pampering it deserves.

When you say you de-tango'd the rear lights, have you just painted them red?

Agreed, lights look crap unless done with the correct spray and tech 2 spoiler looks questionable on a tech 2 IMO.

Right anyway I need a bit of advice...

When I bought the car the immobilser had the key taped in it. So I fitted the chip in the e30 key and the immobiliser ring to the ignore barrel. Put it all back together fired up and... Wipers go washer go wild. Remove all and inspect.

I tried removing the stalk and the wiring down to the footwell to make sure I hadn't knocked it for now. It continued.
I unplugged the relay for now.what could it be?

Either you have managed to damage the insulation on the wires around the column, or perhaps it is worth pulling the wiper relay out of the fusebox and checking there are no loose fuses underneath it.

I had the same problem on mine, but it was caused by the front of the electric fan rubbing on the wiring loom that runs across the front panel.

Cheers mate I don't think I damaged a wire as unplugged it where the pedal box is. It has a 36 fiascos under the bonnet. I may just try a new relay if they are cheap

I love how people always say it's not bad taste it's because I'm not boring..

I agree with peoples light and spoiler comments, looked much better before.

What suspension are you running? You going to tidy up the wiring at all?

I prefer tech 2 so il probe ly change it all to that. Tbh other than people on here who would know the difference unless they saw 2 together....

It's a custom set-up haven't really inspected it properly.

As for the wiring he said it was a custom loom off a guy on here so all seems to work well. Visually I might try to tidy it a little and wire in the auto cut in for the fan then I'm happy

The engine loom will be a Danthe custom loom i reckon. The car loom is what Jhonno is asking about if have read it right.

Fitting a horrible (my opinion) tech 2 kit will will only add weight. This will ruin the handling and looks.
Strip more out, dont add more tat would be my advice :D
