top one is mine. it's on e30 m3 running gear which will fit without it but i wanted to run 245's on the back.
the rest i'm guessing are probably not on spacers but more likely need the extra clearance for 8 or 9" on the back. the fronts arches are only marginally wider than standard but look the part.
fitting them is another thing. the fronts are easy. just line it up how you like and cut the excess away from the original wings. attach as you see fit.
the rears need the back arches tubbing slightly to prevent the wheel catching them. i maybe have a few pics of that if you want although i lost loads of pics a while back. its a time consuming process, for me anyway, i took my time to get it right and probably spent 40+ hours on the backs alone. i'm a novice though and that was the first time i'd really done major fettling. a pro would take half that i'm sure. my rear arches were non existent anyway so something needed doing.

it's personal taste and it's highly council of course but it looks better on the black cars than the rest of them. the white one looks iffy IMO and mine are sprayed (badly) to the body colour to overcome that.bedumon wrote:Look pretty out of place to me.....Surely a flare would look better and probably cost the same?
i wanted to run 245's on the back with the m3 gear, i reckoned a flare wouldn't have made it. at any rate i had nothing to flare but oxide

Definately agree with you on the colour. White looks completely wrong.nickso wrote:it's personal taste and it's highly council of course but it looks better on the black cars than the rest of them. the white one looks iffy IMO and mine are sprayed (badly) to the body colour to overcome that.bedumon wrote:Look pretty out of place to me.....Surely a flare would look better and probably cost the same?

Wise idea if you haven't got any arches left.....

Nickso, thanks for the info. My car is black and the rear wings have gone around the radius and thought this may be a great way of addresing the issue and adding a bit of individualism to the car. I think they look great! My car is track only so finish aint what it needs to be for a daily but I still want it to look nice. Where did you get the arches from? you can buy cheap generic ones on line which I've been considering and I'd be interested if you could provide me with some pics? thanks again

i got them from ireland engineering in the U.S. some time ago when the exchange rate was a lot better than it is now. the price of them now probably isn't worth it and i don't like how they are passing them off as the same as the BMP Design ones. a little cheeky.
i would advise you check the 2002 suppliers in the UK first. you need ones that are ABS plastic and not fibreglass as that won't fit the the e30 at all. jaymic might do them but i would think they will charge you quite handsomely for it.
pm me your email and i'll send all the pics i have left of the install. it'll be a while before i do as i'm away all next week.
