wheres it gone now?! nostalga moment! sp Went to the guildford area
If thats the case, yours is the 1st one i have come across.I know the r/test cars had the outward roll and remember seeing new ones with those too 8O but i suppose it was all down to 1st owners choice.
I remember that car of yours from the old zone with Alpina rimage! Seem to think it came from Scotland with low mileage?
Mine had the outward rolled pipes on the original system when i got the car.

One fell off though!

Lovely car. Keep it that way.

My first red sport had it's original system fitted when I first viewed it, with black slash cut trims.

Week later when I collected it, they had fitted it with a new kwik fit special, complete with halfords chrome push on decorations, as the original wouldn't go through the MOT.

Needless to say, it wasn't on there long, and that back box still sits in my garage 8 years on! Depending on mood, I would swop between the boysen with black slash cuts or the sebring which is still on my touring.

Mileage has just clicked round to 120k. As for owners,i think it might be six, thats without checking my "anal history file" to be certain thou!
All owners appear to have been "enthusiasts"as every bill looks to be present from 1989 thru the years to date, including adverts from autotrader/receipts for deposits/full amounts taken upon sales (for i think every subsequent owner!) every MOT and even 4 pages of "till receipts" from over the years for stuff like polish and cloths etc. It was still visiting BMW main dealers for serviceing up till 2006,since then i have taken over that job but still useing all genuine parts/quality/correct oils.

BTW,i read you might be tempted by the "GUG"? I could free up some spare cash for you, in exchange for a certain pina touring? winkeye

Bowker on the docks are fantastic, as you say CSL they are very E30 friendly i've spent a small fortune with them in the process of restoring mine. But I couldn't have asked for better service.

Car looks spot on mate, really makes me think about tidying mine up and getting it back into the condition it was in when i bought it. Its still tidy but my drift days at Oulton are starting to show. :o:

I'm always working up there and i'll keep an eye out for you. If you ever see a 07 silver Toyota Hiace van flashing you it'll be me. :D
