After selling all my other e30's this the last one left and its a keeper!

Picked up this sport about 9 months ago and its just been sitiing in my unit since then.

Now i have sometime on my hands i have decided to strip the car and finding the lurking rust!

Amazed to only find one jacking point that needs welding and its booked in for next week to get that sorted. I will then underseal the whole car and put back together and get a new MOT and full service on it.

Its only got 64k on the clock with 2 previous owners with full BMW dealership service stamped up in the service book apart from the last few.

It has MINT interior and carpets.

Should have taken some pics before i dismantled her, but she will be back together soon. Here are some pics below:

not the best photos, taken with my iphone.

still shocked no rust on sills, inner arches or rear battery tray!

Chuffed :P

Engine bay needs a buff up! winkeye

Do you reckon this could be the lowest mileage tech 1 sport out there?

It could well be one of the lowest mileage ones. It's done half the miles mine has 8)

Impessive stuff but then i guess the low milage has helped with its relatively rot free condition.

Think that is one of the best looking tech 1 shells ive seen, we have a couple that are prettly much rot free but not as clean as that. Must have been garaged its entire life!

Blimey mate, that's a minter! Probabaly is one of the lowest mileage tech-1s.

Keep the tech-1 alive and you seem to have caught a bigfish there.

thats next on the list to do! just need to find the time to do it. had a sick k&n induction kit on it but replaced that today before the MOT for the original AFM and filter.

MOT inspector and everyone in the garage came over when i came cruising in and complemented the car.

i am not saying its MINT it does have little bits needing done to it, but definitely the best tech 1 i have owned or my eyes have seen before.

Looking very nice if only mine were as nice and as tidy as this, i would be a very happy man.. instaed i have some rot issues around the rear arches and the dreaded scuttle rot to deal with!

New pics!

Done a little black and white photography this time. What do you think?

I think they need to be photoshopped a little bit to make them slightly darker.
