Yes mate thats helpful, really appreciate! looking at the ElectonikTeileKatalog last night i realise that asking for a list of parts is a bit inconsiderate being that theres hundreds of them and would take a fair bit of time.
I removed the fuel pump fuse and turned it over - didn't start (and stall as i've heard elsewhere)(usually its 1st time) i'm guessing thats it.

Another update
Car is now all back together with the exception of the handbrake shoes etc. I was originally gonna use the old parts and replace at a later date but changed my mind and ordered new stuff yesterday (shoes, adjusters and springs). Had the car out a few times this week and all my hard work has been worth it - feels superb to actually drive the thing instead of lying underneath it.

what u do is so
. Can't imagine myself doing all the restoration myself. How much did u spend on the new fuel lines? My floorboard is rusted and it rust at the corner where the fuel line reside. Looking at the new fuel lines and pipes you have there made me thought of changing mine.
taylor, do you paint or spray your car's underbody?
bravo on your doing..

Fuel lines and new clamps are not expensive. Have a look here for prices -

The under body was done with brush on paint.

what a read! you are just by far astonishing! how you have the wit and confidence to approach so a daunting task is unbelivable! Upmost admiration!!!!
If you didnt live in Scotty; id come there and nick your car!!
Youve done practically all off; but wish you all the best for whatever is remaining! I feel that a small part of this, well story is missing, the front end; and though you clearly stated this is a rear end resto; would be nice too see that too; especially on such a well maintained stunner!!!
if youdont mind me saying: wtf you got BBS supporting your rear axle; i was SHOCKED when i saw that. lol
Keep at it buudy; excellent work!! excellent!

The handbrake shoes/springs/adjusters are now fitted so that means I'm finished working on the car for now.

Thanks to everybody who posted their comments
- makes all the hours spent on this car even more worthwhile. And a huge thanks to Paul (Zimmerbimmer) for the excellent service, great value and quick delivery of all the parts I needed to do this.
My MOT is up on the 8th June so over the next couple of weeks I need a combination of a dry day and my MOT guy to have a spare hour to fit me in after work one evening. He knows the score with my car that it doesn't go out in the wet so I don't book it in I just take it over to him when it suits both of us. I can't wait for his reaction when he gets the car up on the ramp. I'll need to make sure that he puts on a clean pair of gloves.

Haha - don't worry about the wheels - they were not harmed during the making of this thread.
I will tackle the front end when the car is off the road for the winter. I'll probably start acquiring some of the parts that I know I am going to need between now and winter. Most of the tidying up at the front will again be underneath as the engine bay aint too shabby (I did a semi rebuild of the engine and cleaned and painted it a couple of years ago). Will still be taking the engine and gearbox out again though to do a proper job.

Taylor,
The back was amazing, the fron half even better! ive run out of things to say tbh; what can one say to you; youve done practically everything par the electrics really!
what a car that must be; what a car. you should begetting some serious magazine attention; if not then some journalists need to be shot!
id love to do something like that; maybe once the fiances are available and a bit more confidence; then Ill attempt it; ive only just bought my first trolley jack; but that was so exciting for me; i know its sad!

Top job mate!
I am just about to get my hands on a spare rear beam. My intention is to clean it up replace all bushes and bearings before doing a quick swap with the one currently fitted to my car.
Don't think it will be quite as detailed a job as what you have done but hope fully restore to rear end to what it should feel like.
