New to the zone and thought it would be rude not to show my new E30 project, it's my first E30 but not my first BM. Had an E36 318is a few years ago then got a Z3 (was pretending to be a hairdresser) aquired the latest car from a friend who has been requested by the police to stay off the road!!!!

So far I have stripped and rebuilt the rear brakes and added some german plates and a marmite style bonnet decal!

Don't worry the wheels are going soon, but had to put something on to keep it at my parents house. Have ordered these LM reps hopefully they will arrive in the next week or two.

Also added pics of my old BMs, wish I had never sold them

Nice looking motor
You obviously know that the wheels you have a picture of are 5 stud and not 4 stud which the E30 requires.

They are a lovely looking wheel. That was the style I was after but couldn't find anything so I went for the wolfrace Kendo wheels you can see in the pic in my signature. Where have you ordered them from?

Got the decal from the wonderful world of eBay came from America, took a while to arrive but was worth the wait. As for the wheels they are from BM Auto Sport www.bmautosport.co.uk, spoke to them today should be here for the weekend. Gone for 16" as feel 17" are to big with the suspension drop.

Anyone know who supplies these wheels. I could be very interested in a set for the cabby.

congratulations to BeemerShmeemer :!: who has noticed my deliberate mistake (anyone believe that :?: ) Yes it seems I have made a total tw@t of things with the rear brakes, no prizes for guessing what I'll be doing this afternoon. 11 out of 10 for attention to detail. Would never have noticed myself. Thanks Buddy.

Added some slightly better pictures of the wheels, as the car is sitting as a MOT failure with no battery or steering wheel I couldn't move it very far to get a better angle.

Image

Also added some tinted rear lights.

Image

Needs some welding done prior to the MOT, hoping to get this done in the next couple of weeks.

The chrome will be going soon, it was covered up by some tape to keep it black but it looked $hit and started peeling off. The lights are a home made effort, my mate I got the car from donated some crystal units that I thought looked tacky so I got some tinting spary and tinted the top half. I'm happy with the end result and they are perfectly legal.

As for the number plates, not had it on the road with them on but hoping that the police will ignore it as the number is random, I had a tiny front plate on my E36 and all I got was a mouthful of abuse and a £30 fine from a copper who seemed to think it was impossible for a 19 year old to own anything more than a rusty fiesta. Just going to risk it.
