Looks like!
The one in the sixth pic down was amazing! Stripped out on leda coilovers, carbon airbox, rose jointed gearchange, sparco buckets, illegal legal tyres...I want to strip mine out now!!

I tell you what lads, I had a fantastic view from the back of the convoy as we went over the Vaynor Penderyn road, almost brought a tear to my eye....

Richy, your a star, now ive got proof that its been done. lol. I'llbe more careful with the rubber mallets next time!!!!
Richy what were u on about when you were saying about my car sliding when i overtook that red 318iS just on that right hander?

You back end was well twitchy m8 when you took that right hander.
Didnt help the road being bumpy as well. I have no idea how fast you was going but i was gaining on the e36and about to pass then I thought better over it being so low exhaust blowing now didnt fancy ripping it off so to speak.
Steve im just loving your touring m8.
Maybee oneday my hearse will be just as nice.
BTW where you get that sunroof deflector from im liking them after seeing one in the flesh

Ah rite!!!! Thats probably something to do with bumpy corner, salty roads, RWD and a bit of right foot. lol. The way the back end of my car is set, it'll twitch, but wont slide unless really provoked. Its quite predictable actually. Could have done with 2psi less in my front tyres Sunday too.
I have no idea how fast i was going, but i changed down to 3rd gear at 60mph and she sounded like she was doing +5.5k revs when i changed up. Work the speed out yourself, but i went thru the corner in 4th with a fair few revs on her (
WELL over 4k) I wasnt watching the speedo, i was watching the corner apex and if any cars were coming the opposite way... dont mind overtaking on corners like that as long as i can see whats coming. That pass is a good hoon! I'll have to go over there again!

I took all the pics of the passenger sides (not the M3's!) because the sun was behind me...never take the pics facing the sun, they don't look as good!

As a Merthyr boy living in Essex all those pictures of the valleys are making me home sick
Have to make sure I'm back for the next meet seeing as I used to live the other side of that Asda's!!!
I bet the storey Arms was cold this time of year, great drive up there though.
Great pics though!!

Next one is in April, so put it in your diary!
I took the guys through Penderyn and over the A4059, where it joins back to the A470 just before the Storey Arms, great road, and it was very cold the day we were up there, it was reading -2c and that was without the windchill!
Still the layby was as fully packed as ever.

many others from merthyr or was it just an easy place to meet for everybody else?
Havn't been back in a while and the last time I was living there I was in a mk 2, 957cc fiesta (pepperpot alloys and hella's off course

) so wasn't really looking for e30's!

There was only one person there that actually lives in Merthyr, just easy to get to, and on the edge of the beacons.
