excuse my ignorance but is ace cafe actually a cafe ??

well kinda yeah, because they sell tea and coffee plus food! Lot of history behind the ace cafe, been there for years. Mostly bikers hang out there, but they do events each month like for example this one, plus loads others.

yes mate and the food is quite good as well

Good turnout, met a couple of you but was to cold so had to fly quick, thanks to Karan and dips, nice to meet Neil, and all the others who said hello. Took a couple of pictures as i thought i would not be able to clean them up as the monitor on the camera was so dark and every picture i took was just black on the screen, so i gave up, but after coming back home and trying to clean them, they cleaned up ok, so at least i know next time i can snap like crazy.

oh man a story i wouldnt normally be proad off i must say
right, me and my mate were at a traffic light,, T junction turning right.... traffic gives us the right of way to go... halting the traffic opposite..
so all i see is a huge long road, a good mile odd long, good clear vision and view,,, and it was my mates first time of being in the car, so i said,,, watch this... booted it, obviously reached silly silly speeds and im not concentrating on whats behind just whats on front,, and my mate goes "leave it out" im like wtf? look behind and i see police coming after me... luckily for me,, theres a round about not too far,,, i took the first left into a sainburies car park were we hid for a bit,,, saw the police go past back and forth around the big complex, then bugger off,, in the mean time i took pictures but yeah,,, check all junctions and traffic for police vehicles lol they could have done me as they didnt need evidence for how fast i was going,,, the exhaust note on acceleration would have been enough for them to wake up!

anyway,, on the bright side,, my mate shat himself with the performance, was well impressed! and damn its so smooth!! fair enoguh its a revvy mo fo,, though its so fun changing the gears and just getting some more! out of it! short shift was a must in this case... but not anymore... .... for now.. ;)

pretty new to this forum lark. had a bm for just under a year now, a alpine white 316i 2 door. pretty slugish i know , but not bad for a first car. hope to get a 2.5 in the near future.

anyway hope to see a few of you at various meets/track days
