Stopped at BP garage just outside Dundee to fill up and it wouldn't start again. After much fannying about a good slap to the fuel pump got it going, I cut my losses and headed home.

New pump required I guess.
More pissed off by the fact I have been using it all week and it was fine, the day I try and do a few hundred mile round trip it plays up.

I was even on time to get to Hermiston.

Cheers Colin, was really looking forward to meet as I have been to nothing this year apart from Knockhill with Neil.
Was a poor day all round though, may have picked up three points and driving that thing in the wet is no fun at all, almost put it into the Armco in Dundee too.

I think I must have an old number for you Jake, it went straight to voicemail. I thought you would have a pump lying, even considered getting a taxi round to your mums and get her to phone you.

You're all very welcome, I enjoyed it. We'll do it again.
I suspect a good proportion of the food and drink will be on sale on the black market at Harthill Secondary tomorrow.

Really enjoyed the meet. Thanks to Boyd for the location. Having never been to a meet before I think that's the most E30's I've seen in one place.
Not so good, just after I got home my PAS fluid decided to deposit itself all over the ground

I saw the makings of a stash building up post windscreen change.
'Cake Set' anyone ? Well worth the money, no more damaging trim with screwdrivers. I got my set for a tenner delivered but these are the cheapest I could find.

It's a Jimmy Hill lip spoiler. I'm sure they only fit prefacelifts. They are getting very rare and are sought after.
It's my cab.
