Here's my selection of pics from the zone "Hoon"..560 mile round trip through some of the very best and most challenging roads in scotland and some fantastic photo ops..

the "cattle road" to Applecross ascends to 2060 feet in 4 miles or something like that..i was a bit nervous as we started this after reading the big warning sign at the bottom, and the old B20 overheated a bit half way up Dave will have you believe thats because i was going too slow, but really i think i was pushing too hard

barstewards! Wish I'd been able to go-looks amazing,

as for the 36, a reminder that RWD can be interesting on single track roads in the wet...

Makes me wish I lived in scotland! 560 miles in one day or did you stay over somewhere? Great pics, another E36 driver gets surprised by RWD, LOL.

We stayed in Ft William on the Friday night before heading off and overnighted in Ullapool on the Saturday before heading to Aviemore, then home on the sunday. :D

The causeway over to the island is a great road, Malcolm (so long as you avoid the patches of sand that hasn't washed off the road when the tide has went out) :D

Have you driven it?
