it was a good turn out all the same sorry we didn't do the run either just we had no idea there was a run involved but its not unusual for a local meet to end out back at mine

but as we say all is always welcome and the neighbours are used to the bmws being outside now
good pics btw

my back box can off twice after i went over a wee crest chasing BadDave.

on the bright side though, i will enjoy the next run better after collecting my manual box and slipper today

As it was the heaviest and most underpowered one there,it wasn't going to be great on the straights, so i thought i'd better make up for it on the twisty bits.
Was actually frustrating having to slow down so you guys could catch up
I don't normally do SLOW
3/4 of a tank to about 160 miles and it spent most of it's time in 2nd or 3rd gear for most of the single track roads.
Would have been more economical in the old 325 Tourer
Must remember that it's not running the Brembo brake setup YET
Was fun tho
I think a good time was had by all who stayed till Pitlochry

After the day at Glencoe earlier this year, we were hoping to make this one Grant, but the car's pieces again.
Maybe next time?

Badly failed MOT James. Mainly suspension bushes, but also the front wings weren't fixed to the floor. Stripped it down to find holes in the sills too. Guy at work used to work in a coachbuilders so he's doing what he can with the body.
He should be finished this week, then it's off the the garage for an estimate.
