Here are my pictures from the Hestercombe meet today.

It was good to see some of the old faces again... Andy Everett, Henry, Dave H26 and also the new faces I met.

Around 20-30 E30's today and the usual selection of awful E36's. There was a nice selection of sixes and a lovely M5 along with a nice example of the unusual Z1.

There are also a few shots of a poverty spec 318i which reminds me of the Rockingham Council Taxi!! Brilliant number plate too!

Showed a brand new 328Ci owner who was boss on the way back too, the look on his face was a classic.

Yes Ron's red sport, after seeing, and speaking to Ron about his wheels, and the refurb job that was done on them, trust me you wouldn't be wanting them!!

Where did he get them refurbished, Did it cost loads to get them done or was it a bad job?

That targa top blue thing is just a badly converted bauer. It looks "different" from a distance and even factory up to a point but once you start looking a bit closer you can see where the work has been done.

There were 2 motorsport cabs there, I tried to persuade Becky to drive hers but she wouldn't and wished she'd bought it once we got there

Just a quick note to congratulate Andy Evans (Tudor) on winning the show and shine competition, his car is the red E30 cab A17 TUD. Made his day as it was up to its axles in mud last Monday at the Swansea show and he's worked all week to clean it up again!!

He did tell me how he keeps them clean but for the life of me I can't remember!! Funniest thing was last Monday when it started raining, 10 of us under a 6 feet x 6 feet gazebo trying to stay dry, 9 of us huddled in one corner and Andy in the other looking like he was about to lose it big time coz his cab never comes out in the rain!

Jibbers here , what can i say , what a good day it turned out to be , it was a real eye opener for me , but im glad i went in the end , i was a bit dubious about going at first , but everybody i spoke to was spot on .
Although i did not get the chance to actually speak to any zoners , i spoke to a few people and saw that it wasnt all die hard E30 loonies !
Dont get me wrong some people are so into it i couldnt believe , for instance the man of the day from wales , i dont think they come any more dedicated than that !
FAIR PLAY
And for a change it was nice to see a pic of my car on the zone that i didnt post ......I'M FOOKIN FAMOUS ! ! ! !

Cheers guys Jibbers :D
