If it's built for a 5 series then it might not fit, the main clearance issue is with the steering column on RHD E30's

thanks chris, but my cars lhd, i was more interested to know if the m20 heads all had the same size manifold connection. i've never heard of the 528 m20 maybe it was an american market model or not.

It was a model for the US and Japanese markets.

The head should be the same if it's an M20 although i dont know anythin about a B28 so the ports could well be different.

Not according to the ETK. I imagine it would bolt up to a M20 head OK, but where the pipes go after that, and as to whether it's to a point in space that is already occupied on an E30 by other solid objects, is anybodies guess!
