Does your short shift lean to the right?

Tourer M42 conversion finished.......runs sweet as...still needs a good road revvey road, roadtest.I treated the old girl to Z3 short shift kit,had to get the hammer out to clear the diff......shift feels great but the gear stick is leaning towards the right.Is it suposssed tooo?
