Hi,
my 325 sport does not start very well from hot or cold?
when I try to start it, it will crank over for upto 5 seconds then fire up and run fine?
if I turn it off and try again straight after its been running it starts fine! any ideas?

Mileage?
I notice your user name, what sort of Rover do you have? I'm a fan of those engines.

Mine does the same although to be fair it starts from cold fine most of the time. General opinions seem to be that it could be down to a leaky injector or faulty cold start injector.

I am going to change the normal ignition components ( dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs ) as well as cleaning the throttle body etc to see if this makes an improvement before I start messing with the injectors.
