hi ppl

i was tempted to purchase a haynes manual for the e30, but i wondered if somebody could tell me on here first.

before i owned the e30 i had a renault clio and every week i took the air filter out and gave it a good clean, along with the oil breather hoses which constantly got filled with oil, aswell as cleaning the spark plugs with a wire brush.

these were just a few of the weekly jobs i did on the clio.

now with no experience or knowledge of the general matenance required for the e30 i was wondering if someone could tell me what they did to there e30??

Hi dude..

I've recently written guides on basic servicing for the m20 engines (2.0,2.5) and the m40 engines (1.6, 1.8)

just waiting for them to go up on the zone but I can email you them if you want..

just give me your address...

they cover oil change, coolant change and sparkplug change

other tech articles can be found in the 'articles' section of the website (click on the link at the top of the page!)

Hope this helps

Neil

bentley manual is better than the haynes

you can get ot from Amazon pretty easily.

not heard anything good about the haynes to be honest.

my email address is "trotters_independant_traders_plc@hotmail.co.uk"

what a plonker! hehe

billgatese i will second that! the haynes manual is not very good at all, but as jos says it was ok for the routine stuff that i needed to do......until the ball joints, track rod ends etc. came along lol.
