Hi,

I have a problem in starting my car, ill explain how it came about.

The car was being driven on motorway, and it started misfiing, i.e intermittant powerloss, then all of a sudden it cut out , when i fired it up it would stay on for a few seconds then cut out.
it got recovered by RAC,

sometimes when i fire it up it just doesnt turn over, and sometimes it just doesnt do any thing, it seems like no petrol going through, but why does it fire up every now and then.

i was told it could be the rotor arm, i changed and cleaned the dizzy cap, but still the same,

what else can i try.

On a later m20 its on the front pulley under dissy cap. Also check for faulty relays on the nrs front inner arch there should be 3 under a plastic cover.
