I have a 318iS registered in 27 12 1990 which has a catalyst but no O2 sensor. I am planning to have the cat removed when funds allow...

my 318is has no cat and none of the others that i have seen have ether . the front exhaust box looks a bit like a cat but its only front box . if you have the emmisions print out from you m/o/t you will see from the readings if it has a cat the co reading will be very low . you will not have a cat and no 02 sensor as the sensor measures the fuel mixture of the engine and will ajust the fuel/air mixture to stop damage to the cat .
