4cylinder to 6 cylinder dash?

the rev counters all wrong and somwere i read its all in the dash and theres a chip i could change...were is the chip please? or would it be easier just to replace the whole dash?

The chip is in the front of the clocks, its like a little white cartridge......

the fuel gauge will be inaccurate as well
