M30 idleing

my m30 engine came out of a 535 sport but it was an auto.
i've now put the engine in my car with a manual box and when i drive it and pull up at a set of lights the revs drop down hold for abit and then drop down to what they should be, like it was still an auto box car.
i have heard that the icv on the autos is different to the manuals.

is it just a case of getting a icv off a manual m30? or is this bull shit and i have another problem...?

Doesn't sound like a problem at all, just the way the ICV/motion sensors hold the idle up whilst moving (something to do with emissions I believe).

Saying that, there could be an issue but without seeing/hearing it I'd be tempted to say just leave it be.

it just sounds like its doing what an auto should do. and i was told that the auto icv were different to manual ones on m30's. i'll try and find one and try it out. i just wanted to know wether it was crap or not.
