Dropped my 90 e30 320 ise in for a service this morning and they have suggested getting the drop links replaced as they are perished. Never heard of drop links before. Anyone got any idea's?? I have notices a very stiff ride in the last few months, is this related??
Thanks in advance

Drop links connect the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm.

Thanks Chris,
They are looking to charge about 130 for front and about 130 for rear.
Thats euro's. Probably get them cheaper on the zone?

Wow! That's not cheap... GSF will do those parts for you at £9 for fronts and £6 for rears!!!
A hell of a lot of difference!

I hope theat's for genuine parts! You should try ZimmerBimmer1, see what price he can do for you.
Odd too that they want the same money front and rear - rears should be cheaper.

Give these guys a call...

this is for a E36 but the E30 ones are similar to the short one shown and they will have E30 parts in stock.
Replacing is pretty easy, probably an hour for the lot, that said I have never done the rears.

I bought oem front ones for £23 each early last year so it depends what they are using ...you can re-bush them from superflex

I think the rears are part 5 here, and the front are part 8?
I paid £160ish to change the rear ones on a toyota, but looking at much more on my vectra

have to drop the subframe on it!
not the simple job that it looks. I get my parts on eBay.... about £10 each (you need 2 on the front, 2 on the rear)

I think EVERYONE's been stuffed here over the price of drop links!
They are relatively simple to change DIY too.
For £30, you can do the whole lot yourself dude.
