touring rear speaker pod tracing wiring to head unit! help!

installed my speaker pods in the rear of my touring today, linked them up to the existing wires in the rear of the car however cannot find the other end of the cables behind the head unit??? any help would be greatly appreicated!

If you've got a multimeter with resistance/continuity tester you can use that. But you might need a length of wire to extend the probes.

Connect one end of the meter to one of the wires in the pod and the other use to check for continuity on the wires going to the back of the head unit. Chances are that they'll not be connected to anything so the loose ones are best bet. Try and avoid the power ones though.

the head unit is after market and has the harness butchered to fit an iso socket! and i can find any loose wires behind there unfortunately! i assumed they would have been taped to a main loom somewhere? if i can find em ill just run some new ones reackon thats me best bet
