Perhaps you could be more specific as to what sort of plots you're after.
What engine size, modified, stroked etc etc???
What car is this for, do you know how to read a dyno plot, it's not all about the max power the car produces, dyno readings tell many different stories.

I know what you mean about interpreting them, an increase in peak power at the expense of a lot of torque at lower engine speeds isnt really the way to go. I also know that different dynos give very different results and operators often give an estimated output at the crank, which is open to debate..
Im not bothered if theyre 320/325 or even 318 - but if people have print outs then it shows what torque and power is being made at specific engine speeds.
Anyone can guess what their motor might be making at the crank, and pub bullsh*t always adds an extra 10bhp
but Im interested to see the results of peoples hard work and what different modifications can do. Im guessing with so many people into doing engine mods that someone must have evidence of their development work??
Anyone?

People doing that really gets my goat for some reason. I have a mate who I thought I'd educated in the ways of not commenting on power outputs. He has a 205 1.9 GTi which has about the same 0-60 as a 325i.
Anyhoo, we had a bit of a race and proved the point by and large.
Later on, he goes on to say that he reckons his car's only making about 120bhp cos it doesn't feel as fast as it should......but that means that my car must also make 120bhp as it's just as quick........but then the BM weighs more......and.....grrrrrrr.

Turbo-Brown, you know of any rolling roads youd recommend in Hampshire? I want to find out what my standard motors power output is.

I've never used them, but SAS Tuning Japanese in Aldershot seems to be quite highly thought of if that's any help?

Hib Ade, All my work gets done by Bexley Motor Works in Bexleyheath. 0208 304 9797 Nigel or Jags. They built the engine and have developed it from there.

Dont have graph scanned but my 2.7 made 200 bhp and 200 lb.ft at bexleys.
My M5 made 301 bhp in really hot conditions and needs an Inspection 2.

My 325 made 143 at the wheels at Hi-Tech near Brum, which I'm assured = 171 at the crank. That was with it running at 20% underfuel at the top end mind... so 'm not sure what it'd do with clean 'jectors.

Hi Sal, I remember reading all the posts when you were getting it done with the MBE and all. There's that whole auto and dyno debate to bring into the equation and I don't want to go there!!!
All that needs said is they are both bloody quick!
Your M5 sounds a beast.
