M3 Central locking help required

Hi Guys


Anyone know anyhting about central locking on E30 M3's?

is the locking the same as 318/320/etc??

whats the most common thing to go wrong as my car will not lock with the key or alarm fob, Will open but will not lock.

I removed the door card and had a look and sprayed some WD40 in there but no joy, The door pin will only push down from the inside when the door is closed, Any thoughts??

It's the same as all E30's,
pull the main A post connector apart the pins will more than likely
be corroded.
try cleaning them with switch cleaner or replace the pins.
