E30 Zone

help,jus converted my rear manual windows to electric,only problem is that they dont work when used from the rear switchs in the door cards but work fine when operated from the center console. ? have i missed out a fuse or relay.

Did you connect them up to the main loom at the B-Pillar?:D

Do the rear switches light up?

Check the child cut-off switch isn't in top left of your console.

Also try swapping the switches with the one's from the fronts.

hi, yes they were connected to the main loom b-pillar. and no the rear switchs dont light up. their is no child cut off switch in my console,so is this sum thing i will have to find and fit .

It's a square push button switch. Connector will be waiting for you under the console, cutting lines are marked underneath the console.
The rear switches won't work without it.

I can send you one if you don't have one. They're worth nothing and available from BMW or eBay for pence.

Good luck cutting a neat square out of that console foam shite - better off seeing if you can find a console that was cut for 4 x power windows in the first place.
