dash clocks

my clocks are giving out strange readings, the fuel wobbles when you rev the car, the temp stays on cold and also wobbles when revved, the warning light on the dash keeps coming on and going off again and there is no fluids low in the engine, and just now the green inspection light were flashing for no apparant reason, somebody help please

hello mate, the clocks in your dash are powered by an idependant battery on what they call an si board,it maybe that the battery is failing,try to beg borrow or steal (not litrally) a set of clocks to try prior to buying a new one as they were 90quid without fitting the last time i priced one.. hope that helps

Sounds like knackered si board batterys.
Got a good working set of clocks here if you decide to go that route!

No problem mate but just to stay on topic it does sound like your si board at fault

All E30 clusters (except early and M3 ones) are interchangeable, as long as you keep your original coding plug, on the front. The only difference might be a slight difference in the red line position on the tacho.
