This is usually an indication that an indicator bulb has blown, so firstly check all relevant bulbs on the right hand side of the car.

its actually on the meter cluster that's blinking quicker. the right signal one. do i still check the bulb in there?

It will be one of your exterior indicators - try giving which ever one is not working a good thump as this will usually get it going and is the sign of a corroded connection.

thanks Breadbin , alas, ..the rear tail light bulb on the right was a bit out of the socket (maybe bumps on the road caused it)

a quick refitting of the bulb sorted it out :)

e30's always seem to amaze me with the amount of innovation it has, even until this day .

guess its a way for the car to tell us that the bulbs/connections are knackered. (fast blinks ) :P

no wonder i kept getting the finger from drivers behind me , when i signal right . they cant see my signaling :P

well might try some LED panel that might fit the signal lights , should last significantly longer than conventional bulbs eh .

they sell them here in some car accesory shop , for about 5 malaysian ringgit. which isbout .... 35p ?

:)

will post some pics when i do fit em on the car.
