I wonder what the costs are too!

Will these fit under OE BBS alloys?

I've got most of the parts to do this conversion now too, hopefully a few weeks and it'll be done.

You can either get the brackets made, here's a template: -

Or you can get them from http://www.300mm.de/new/

Not cheap though.

I'm going to enquire at a local engineering company when I get the chance.

Are 16" wheels ok?

How do the discs need to be modded?

You need 1mm taken out the centre i think, so they fit over the hub.

Templ8e30, how have you treated the brackets to stop them rusting ?

the 312 and 750 caliper combo can be squeezed under a 16" Borbet B, you'll need to grind all the casting flash from the 750 caliper, no real issue

only leaves 3mm running clearance, so make sure the wheelbearings are good ( Kevin no worries there lol ! )

theses are all the brakes you'll need on an E30, tested in anger with 350+ HP , no issues

Make sure the ABS works, locked fronts @ 100+ is not good, and they will lock !!

What'll fit under 15" BBS then?

I painted them with some stuff from work called Galvafroid, basicly a zinc paint. Works very well on the steel brackets I put outside 7 years ago, still look new.

I paid £100 from a BMW breaker for my E34 3.6l M5 single pot calipers (complete with cast in ///M logo's  ), was disappointed when they turned up though as they were fooked, needed a complete rebuild.

I got a pair of E38 735i Brembo disc £54.00
A Pair of TT disc Cross Drilled disc £109.00 + £10 for increasing bore by 1mm and redrilling the wheel lug holes.

I need to design a bracket and get it fab'd in between doing the gearbox and selector shaft seals changing the ECU and running my own business.

Where does my time go!!!!!!
