Front End Clunking Noise??

Hey people!

I get a noise from the front end of my car while i drive.
I think its definately coming from the left hand side front wheel/suspension assembly.

Its sound like a muffled knocking/ clunky sound.
Its not a rotational sound, more like worn rubbers or something...

I have no experience with changing bushes etc in this area
I've look at the archive and found bit and pieces.

What are your thoughts? What do i need to know, what should i look out for?

Any info, thread links or pics would be Much appreciated

Jason
