Hi all, no I'm not that much of an idiot, but I want to know if there is a way of manually opening an electric sunroof with a knackered motor?

The end result is to be able to actually remove the old rusty sunroof and fit my new one, along with a new motor!

Yes, remove the small plastic access panel, crack the (21mm?) nut off a little, which disengages the electric motor, then use the z shaped allen key from the tool kit or any 5mm allen key.

As far as I know, you take off that black plastic panel and do it with an allen key?
