[electric] Sunroof not closing flush

Sunroof on my Touring is having a slight paddy.
It closes up OK, and seals correctly, but there is a slight mismatch (4-5mm at the centre) between the final position of the sunroof and the main roof skin. Is this common and/or easy to remedy? I know it's not letting water in but it's untidy and I'm a pedant.
My old 318iS had the manual roof and never experienced this issue with that, always closed very precisely.
