Hey guys,
Firstly thanks to Steveic for my new tourer, enjoying the E30 drive again, it's been too long!
the only thing is i can't seem to get the rear seats to lock upright, there's the lever that goes under the bottom of the seats but doesn't seem to effect the locking of it, i'm sure it should but thought i'd ask if there's another way!
cheers in advance!

The lever unlocks the seats when the seat base are swung up. The tab on the top of the seat should pop up when they do.
The seat backs lock by swinging them back into place, when the tab should go down again.
The pins that the backs lock on to are eccentrically mounted, so slacken the lock nuts are turn them a little. This has cured every faulty one I've found.

Thanks a lot, should be less worrying to carry passengers and all important bits in the boot!

It's silver H Reg, it's only got 14" bottle tops on it at the moment, but that'll change!

only got a f plate 320 touring. bright red, hoping to get it on the road in next few weeks though.
has 15" bbs x spokes, gonna lower it 60-40 before i start using it.
have some 17" wheels for it but now doubt i will use them.

If a good slam will get it to lock into place then turning the eccentric rod bolt thing slightly should sort it, otherwise, my last touring had had the mechanism greased up with something a little to heavy duty and was full of crud stopping it clamping properly. Worth checking.

cheers for all the info, soon as i shake this stupid flu bug that has kept me in bed instead of getting oily i'm hopefull of it being fixed!
As for wheels, i'm not really sure, thinking of 17's but it all goes on how they look on the car!!
