I've recently changed all my oils on my 325i Sport tech2 and i chose Silkolene pro-s 5w 40 after talking to people on here and oilman.(assumeing your question is about engine oil!)
A lot depends on use/mileage,but end of day the choice is yours!
Hope that is of some help

I've always used 10w40 Castrol Magnatek but that Fuchs titan looks a bargain!

Cheers fellas, sorry yes I did mean engine oil!
Does anyone know what is normal oil consumption for a 325i engine?

I suppose it really depends on how hard you drive it/if you have any/how bad the oil leaks are etc.
I would say given the age of this engine,a lot of people would post differing amounts of consumption, due to the differing amounts of wear/use, if that makes any sense!
What sort of consumption are you seeing mate?

Cheers mate, it's only when I hit the submit button that I realised how difficlut it would be to answer!
Its the first time that I have needed to put any oil into the car, the engine has done 127,000 and doesn't get used that often, mainly for short blasts as I commute by train
Maybe a better idea would be to ask how long should I leave it between oil changes?

That's what the lights along the bottom of the cluster are for!
I wouldn't expect a M20 on 127,000 miles to need more than a half litre top up at most between oil changes.
