Hi can any body tell me how to fit the above mirror I,ve looked, and cannot see how to start taking the front head lining out to get into the mirror fixing,let alone running the wireing,any help, please, joeboy. :?

Hi And thanks Rich, forgot to say the motor I,m putting the mirror into is a 318i (c reg),so it does not have a oc so cannot pull the oc out, there for, its the front panel piece with the sun visors on,thanks again,joeboy :?

The headlining doesnt need to be removed!

To remove the black panel around the sunroof switch you need to take the 2 screws out underneath the wind deflector that comes up when you open the sunroof.
Also pull off the door seals around the top front corner as its tucked around the door apperture.
Remove both sun visors and their clips.
Thats about it from memory.
Engine conversions, Auto to manual conversions, parts, servicing etc etc... For anything e30 call 07718 901737

Cheers Spadge, going to give this a try(when it stops raining of course),by the way any idea how get the wire down to the passenger foot well,(thats where I was told it goes)regards,joeboy. :) :)

Windscreen pillar side trim pulls straight out at the top (spring clip) and then has to be lifted straight up to unhook a clip near the bottom.
